Happy Hand Puppets – Workshop

May 21 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Registration here

Participants will construct their own unique puppet using a sock as the base. They will be guided through how to use common craft items to make features on the puppet. They will develop a personality and backstory about the puppet, exploring happiness as an emotional state.

We will work on the proper way to manipulate the puppet to make it come alive and look like it is really talking.

Participants will have the opportunity to have their puppets interact with each other during class.

At the end of the workshop, each participant will make a presentation of her puppet in a small theatre (Teatrino).
